Selling vehicles on SSX
Use one listing for each vehicle. Vehicle adverts always need manual approval, including adverts from established sellers.
Set up your dealership
Choose Vehicle Dealer when creating your account. In Dealership settings, add your business contact details and trading sites, then submit them for review. Each vehicle must belong to an active site. Private vehicle sellers can use their own account.
Prepare the advert
Select the correct vehicle category and complete the relevant specifications. Add clear photos, condition, make and model, body type, price and collection arrangements. Include registration and stock reference where applicable. Vehicles cannot use stock quantities, variants or bundle discounts.
When VAT applies, enter the vehicle price excluding VAT and select its VAT rate and presentation. The fee band uses the total vehicle price including vehicle VAT. VAT on the SSX fee is shown separately.
Check your fee agreement
Your selling fees show any negotiated agreement or introductory offer. Review and accept the full vehicle tariff in the listing preview. There are three vehicle-value bands: up to £1,000, £1,000.01–£10,000 and above £10,000. Each band has a fixed fee.
An introductory offer has exact start and end dates. The preview also shows the fees that apply afterwards. Boosts are a separate, optional purchase. A fee waiver does not include free boosts.
Submit for review
Submit your advert after checking the details and fees. It appears to buyers after approval. Changes to photos, price, category or vehicle details return it to review. A price or category change also requires an updated fee acceptance.
If vehicle pricing is not yet available for your account, save the advert as a draft and contact SSX. Keep sold or unavailable stock up to date.
